Battleground: World War II: Game Type: Historical
A comprehensive, well-presented set of skirmish rules for WWII, resolving action at the individual soldier and vehicle crew member level. The designers' intent is to provide fast-
playing rules which capture the spirit of ground combat. Units of both sides move in random order (determined by playing of cards), with each person able to perform two Actions
per turn. Morale rules allow for fanatics, cowards and heroes, and Gut Checks are required before characters can perform highly risky acts. Rules cover artillery, engineers,
armored and infantry combat, but do not cover air support. A generic squad organization is provided, and generic hit locations for tanks and halftracks; supplements will fill in more
detail, as well as data for nationalities other than German, American, and Russian.

BattleTech: Game Type: Sci-Fi
BattleTech is a tactical combat simulation of warfare in the period between 2750 and 3060 AD. As tanks are the 'kings of the battlefield' today, giant robotic war machines called
BattleMechs (or 'Mechs for short) reign supreme in the future. The level of technology evident in BattleTech is an unusual blend of the highly futuristic and the nearly modern. A
detailed timeline stretching from the late 20th century to the mid-32nd describes humanity's technological, social and political development and spread through space both in broad
historical terms and through accounts of the lives of individuals who experienced and shaped that history.

Casus Belli: Game Type: Historical
Rules for the Battles of Antiquity and the Medieval Age - 3000 BC to 1495 AD

Chain Reaction 3.0 - Swordplay (A.K.A. CR3-Swordplay): Game Type: Fantasy
Chain Reaction 3.0 - Swordplay is all about. Hand to hand combat with sharp cutting and sticking weapons.

Close Action The Age of Fighting Sail: Game Type: Historical
Close Action features 70 1"x ½" ship counters, 140 markers and accommodates from two to sixteen players on its two 34"x22" maps. If your interest runs to miniatures, the rules
and charts need no changes to adapt to the "big mat."

In the end, Napoleon lost his war with England. Triumphant against all the thrones of Europe, never could he penetrate the walls of oak that surrounded Albion to land an army and
deliver the knockout blow. Discover the secrets of Britain's superior ship handling in the age of sail with Close Action. Some 25 scenarios, ranging from ship vs. ship (training
exercises) to fleet actions (the Nile Campaign) cover a variety of British, French, Russian, Turkish, and Spanish ships throughout the period. In addition to the Napoleonic Wars,
there are selected actions from the American War of Independence and the War of 1812.

Cold Steel: Game Type: Historical
Cold Steel is a set of free wargames rules for the period 1690 to 1950 offered by Historic Enterprises. The first release offers the basic rules, plus specific addendums for the Wars
of Napoleon and the War of 1812. The nice thing about the rules is that they offer a flexible scale system, with each figure representing between 5 and 60 men. This should allow
you to fight a wide variety of battles with the same rules set.

Corvus 2: Game Type: Ancient Historical
Corvus is a set of rules for fighting sea battles in the Ancient Mediterranean. It is a fast play game that avoids book keeping. It can be played with either 1/600th or 1/1200th scale
models and includes two full colour sheets of ship counters.

Doctor Who Invasion Earth: Game Type: Sci-Fi
The Doctor Who Miniatures Game allows players to recreate the drama of the Doctor's many adventures on the tabletop using miniature figures and scenery. One player takes the
side of good, with the Doctor, his companions and some kind of troops (like UNIT soldiers). The other side is generally some dread alien menace seeking to conquer or destroy
(Daleks, Cybermen, etc.)  Although weapons play a part in the game, they seldom are the winning factor for the good side. Instead they often rely on the Doctor to invent a device
or discover a critical weakness of the aliens, and thereby save the world. Download Rules

Flames of War: Game Type: WWII Historical
Flames Of War is a game that allows you to recreate the battles of World War II using miniatures figurines, and so experience the war from the point of view of a front-line company
commander.  Your miniature troops will move about the tabletop battlefield, taking cover from enemy fire and then blasting back in return. Sometimes they will abandon you as soon
as the going gets tough. But by using the sort of tactics and cunning that a real-life commander would, you and your miniatures soldiers will fight their way to victory after victory!

FNG: Game Type: Vietnam War era
The game of Man to Man combat during the Vietnam war.  Bullets thwack into the muddy paddy dike you're using as cover. A light machine gun has part of your squad pinned
down. Two of your men are lying wounded out in the open and screaming for help while one of your guys is hunkered down behind that fallen log and isn't moving anytime soon.
There's a bomb laden plane overhead that could help, but you have no way to get a hold of him. All hell's breaking loose and everyone is looking to you for the answer, hoping that
you don't do something dumb to get them all killed like some Freakin" New Guy. The sweat beads up on your forehead as the pressure mounts, and you wonder; what have I gotten
myself into!?!? Welcome to the world of FNG.

Gutshot: Game Type: Western
Gutshot is a fast-paced, easy-to-learn game that has you slappin' leather and blowin' away the bad guys in a matter of minutes. Using 25mm miniatures and some dice, this game is a
simple system for running one-on-one and small-scale combat set in the American Wild West. By one-on-one, we mean that each miniature represents one person. There are no
armies or mass combat here - everything stays up-close and personal.

Kampfgruppe Commander II: Game Type: Historical
Kampfgruppe Commander recreates all aspects of grand tactical mobile warfare using a scale of company sized, multi-stand units. Infantry battles are as fast playing and interesting
as tank duels. The game’s mechanics are fast and simple, yet full of historical flavor. Small to medium sized games can be played in less than two hours, or larger battles involving
whole divisions in an evening.

Malifaux: Game Type: Gothic Steam-Punk Horror
Based in an alternate Earth, Malifaux uses gothic, steampunk, victorian horror with a dose of the wild west to inject fun and depth into the magical lawlessness of a world rife with
monsters, necropunks, manmachine hybrids, gunslingers, and power-hungry politicos. Actively using character-driven stories to define the world of Malifaux, seek your fortune in
this fast paced and brutal 32mm tabletop miniature skirmish game. Assemble your crew and stake your claim!

No longer do you have to trust the fickle fate of a dice roll, in Malifaux you use cards, a Fate Deck, as you lead your Crew to victory with strategy, tactics and resource
management, and if that isn't enough, you can Cheat Fate. Looking for scalability? Malifaux has it. Jump directly into a Scrap with 4 - 6 miniatures, ensuring a quick and brutal fight
with each character having unique skills and abilities. Want to escalate it? Take it to a Brawl, bring in additional members of your faction or hire out mercenaries to do your dirty
work.

Mordheim: Game Type: Fantasy
Mordheim is a tabletop game produced by Games Workshop. It is a skirmish variant of the company's popular Warhammer Fantasy game set on a smaller scale with players
fielding 15-20 models each, rather than the 150-200 models allowed in Warhammer Fantasy.

Red Actions: Game Type: Historical
Miniatures rules for the Russian Civil War. The basic unit of the game is the platoon, which is composed of somewhere between 20-50 Red Gangsters or White Interventionist
Dupes. Totally new and innovative system geared specifically for the period.

Shako II: Game Type: Napoleonics
Shako II is a fast-play miniature wargaming rule set designed to play large Napoleonic battles with units representing infantry battalions, cavalry regiments, and artillery batteries. The
ability to play corps sized battles and larger actions with battalions as opposed to brigades was made possible due to an innovative morale and combat system that simplifies the
mechanics of play while accounting for tactical nuances. It is not an exaggeration to say that Shako II can be played often without reference to the rule book or even the Quick
Reference Sheet.

Warmaster Napoleonic: Game Type: Historical Napoleon
Warmaster Napoleonic wargame is a variant of Games Workshop's Warmaster miniatures rules. Warmaster is a generally good set of rules that borrows heavily from Fire
and Fury and some other historical sets.

Warrior Heroes: Game Type: Fantasy
So Warrior Heroes is another fantasy role-playing game? Not really.
Okay, a man-to-man skirmish wargame then? Not exactly.  Okay. So what is Warrior Heroes: Armies and Adventures? Warrior Heroes is a hybrid, not a miniatures wargame or a
role-playing game (RPG) but both. Huh?
Warrior Heroes combines the best of wargaming miniatures with the personal touch of role-playing. The combat system is best described as intense yet simple in mechanics. Combat
takes center stage, as when you enter combat there’s no guarantee that you’ll survive. That’s what makes it intense. Added to this is a simple-to-use campaign and battle-generator
system that can give you the who, what, and why of your adventures. Within minutes the mechanics can generate a complete adventure, down to the motivation and actions of the
enemy forces. All without a game master, because in Warrior Heroes everyone plays, not just watches.

The game also works on two other levels. The first is the personal level, where each player creates and controls a character. He recruits a group and leads it on adventures, gaining
experience and abilities as he advances in reputation. The other level allows for fighting battles with large armies. Using the Big Battle rules, you can easily push large numbers of
figures about the board in a reasonable time and to a conclusion, then tie the results to your personal characters. In short, Warrior Heroes can be anything you want it to be, from a
role-playing game to a big battle game and anything in between.

Wings of War: Game Type: WWI Air Combat/ Historical
Wings of War is a game series which merges card and board game mechanics to recreate aerial combat. The first series of Wings of War games focus on the "knights of the air" age,
World War I, portraying the abilities of the fighting planes of this period.
This is a list of the games that occurred at Texicon 2010.  This list will be modified as the months go by to reflect the games that will occur during Texicon
2011.  We will also be putting up the event schedule as soon as possible.  I would say the earliest that we would begin to have a schedule worth putting up
would be September.  But maybe we could have something sooner.  Keep checking back.  I will change the page updated date when changes occur.
Thank you.  Kevin Pajak
